Thoughts on Identity
As someone who had struggled themselves for a long time (and is still struggling) with love, this piece is meant to symbolize the chaotic yet wonderful feeling and experience that comes with it. The dark representing confusion and unknowingness, the creeping feeling that you aren’t good enough and one day they will leave you. The chaotic and vibrant colors in both the background and focal points are meant to symbolize the excitement and almost addicted drunken feeling of being with the one you love. It’s a scary, unsettling experience, yet one of the best humanity can experience. (I mean come on, why do you think there are so many love songs??)
